When we started to design this collection, we started thinking about what the three pillars of our brand. The first one is the tailoring of course, because we come from Italy and it is something that we love doing. The second one was the craftsmanship of our leather. The third pillar is the sustainable model of our company because we give 50% of the profits to charity and we try to do things in a very sustainable way. So we immediately found as a source of inspiration the factory of Andy Warhol. There they were very accepting of every human being, so it didn’t matter about your race, or social status, your creed or you sexual orientation. It was a place where art really did what art is supposed to do, which is to promote acceptance and promote cultural diversity, so we were really inspired by that.We have a very good, small creative team, but we are very hard working. We have done a lot of research and development on our own fabrics, so we work with some fabric makers and they create something uniquely for us which are the jacquards/brocades.Then we have the little bit of Swarovski for the evening, as in that period in New York they used a lot of glitter, but at the same time, we have some very mat materials like the Prince of Wales and the pinstripe, which are very masculine. So what we like to do, is play a lot with contrasts.Music of the show, (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
